Heather spent a few days at band camp prior to the 4th of July, in preparation for the
4th of July Parade. During that short camp, she received the long-awaited letter jacket she'd been notified she'd earned just before the school year ended a few months ago. She earned her jacket through band and was so excited when she brought home the order form to choose the patches to go on it. Decisions, decisions. She had to choose her patches that she was awarded with the jacket, choose the patches we agreed to purchase for her, choose the name she wanted to appear on the back of the jacket.....it seemed an eternity before all these decisions were made. Finally, the finished product is here. She will continue to earn patches in the next 2 years to add to it. She is so proud of her new jacket!!!!
One of Heather's buddies snapped this photo during band camp.
Class of 2010.
I really like the design she chose for her name on the back of the jacket.
We're proud of you, Heather!!!

I don't think she has put "the Jacket" down since she brought it home. It's the middle of July, in south Texas. It was 101 degrees today.I'm really proud of you Heather, keep up the good work!
