This has been one of the most colorful springs I've seen since moving to Texas. My husband is a construction job superintendent and likes to take me to see the jobs he's working on. Recently I took these photos near one of his job sites. He's been very patient waiting in the car as I wonder aimlessly around snapping pictures, occasionally poking his head out the window to remind me to watch for fire ants.
