PhotoStory Friday-Remember

Where were you when the world stopped turning that September Day?

In memory of those lost September 11, 2001 and in honor of all those who continue to serve our country: our military, police force, firemen. Thank you all!

In honor of personal loved ones now serving in Iraq:
my brother in law Mike
my daughter's boyfriend John

And in honor of personal loved ones and friends serving in the military at home and abroad:
My nephew Chris
My cousin Josh
My friend Lowell
My friend John
My cousin's husband Michael

I remember.

I have 2 brother-in-laws that have served over there multiple times. They are at home now, but could be recalled any time. I'm very proud of them!
I love the shot with the soldier in front of the flag. Tells quite a story by itself.
If you'd like to stop by my blog I'm at Cake Crumbs.

my neighbors (son and father) have been deployed for 3 tours during this conflict.

the father was also deployed during desert storm.

My brother-in-law is a colonel and has spent this entire conflict getting troops ready for deployment--and then was deployed himself for 1 year. He just got home.

I’m remembering 9/11 today here’s my link Have a nice Friday!

After 8 years it all still gets me weepy. I am so grateful to everyone in the Armed FOrces for keeping us safe.

Great pictures!
