Go Mats Go!

Last night's game was another defeat for our team....by our rivals from New Braunfels. We enjoyed watching the game with friends despite the loss.

It's amazing what a clean zoom lens will do!!!! It had gotten pretty dusty (and full of sand), especially after a rather windy day at the coast this summer! After cleaning it thoroughly, the first 2 photos here were taken from the very top of the stadium on the 50-yard line. I didn't arrive early enough to the game to get down on the field to take shots of the dancers lining up so had to settle for attempted shots with my zoom lens.

Heather is the third dancer from the right.

This is Chandler, the daughter of our friends Billy and Lisa. She loved watching the game from the very top. The only problem up there was the times she dropped her pacifier and it had to be retrieved from far below. Isn't she a cutie?!

These three are sure intent upon watching the game! From the left of the photo is Micayla (the daughter of Heather's dance teacher Cathy), Cheney (the son of Billy and Lisa), and Justin (Cathy's son).

Unicorn Stadium.

The half time show. Heather is in the center.

Heather's in the center again.

Cute pictures! The colors of the material look so good when they are on the field. Wish the MATS had won, but the kids sure had fun running up & down the stadium stairs with their friends!! I love small town football atmosphere-it is so fun being part of it.

Awwwww, I love the picture of Chandler! It's a SWEET one. =0)

Better luck next time Mats! We're still fans even if we're now rooting for our own team on Friday nights!!!

...and did you notice that your first two photos are just like my first two? Copy cat! j/k

Yours are MUCH crisper though. Someday I'll get a GOOD camera, too.
