Charli's Here!

The prettiest baby girl in the whole world arrived Monday, March 19 at 11:04 pm. She weighed 6 pounds, 9 oz. and measured 19.5 inches long.

Heather smiled most of the way through her 12 hours of contractions. This was taken shortly before she delivered Kayleigh Charles ("Charli"):





Heather was able to hold Charli briefly before she was taken to the NICU for evaluation. (Level 2 ultrasounds for the last 10 weeks of pregancy revealed a duodenal atresia (aka "double bubble"), requiring surgery.)
