In Loving Memory
In memory of my daddy who died 10 years ago today, I'm posting my favorite photo. It was taken when he, Mom, Davy, Levi and Lacey drove to Arizona to visit us in May, 1992. What a wonderful time we all had during that visit! I will always cherish the memories from that trip. It was the only time they ALL traveled together to come to visit me.
While I do miss my daddy, I do know he's in a much better place and is now cancer-free. RIP Daddy!

I saw this over on FB and wanted to pop over here and tell you what a beautiful picture of your dad. Hard to believe it's been 10 years since he passed...I still remember Steve talking to Lacey on our porch...not knowing he would be gone too so soon after. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers today.

Is this your daughter in the photo? I have a similar photo of my mom and Thomas (at 3 mos old) that I treasure. The photo doesn't have the same affect on other people as it does me.
Thank goodness God doesn't take our memories when our loved ones die.
